Hannah is an illustrator based in Perth, Western Australia. She works with watercolour and gouache to create detailed illustrations and patterns for use on prints and products. She loves the quality that results from working with traditional media. Hannah has always been a maker. From little books, to doll’s clothes and everything in between. As a self taught artist, she started Mermaid’s Coin in 2013, when she had her first child. Her one woman business has evolved over the last few years. She now creates exclusive artwork for gorgeous brands, licenses her patterns and illustrations for use on products, and sells art and stationery. These days Hannah aims to balance her creative business with the business of raising two small humans, herding cats, and getting into the waves when the swell is up. She is continually inspired by the sea.
